Some background information
In 2013 SIL Uganda assisted community members to develop an orthography, and produce an alphabet chart, along with booklets explaining how tones and vowels work in the language. In 2014, the Gospel of Luke was the first book to be published in the Ndrulo language. Since 2017 SIL Uganda has been providing technical assistance to a team of translators working on a New Testament translation. The Book of Acts has been translated, along with some other New Testament books.
